Russel great idea, and well executed, someone is the romantic.
If anything bugged me in this shot is the 2 candles above the cups.. they didn't line up, I've of liked to see them seperate from the cups more.

I liked this one.. any wider shots I was most interesred in what the surface really was and what the rest of the print looked like.

Thanks Alpha, It was one of my daughters jump suits. The caption said "wiggly little bugs"
I will post a wider shot on the forum when I can.
Regards Colin

Nicely executed (as always), I'm in two minds about this one, I like the concept, but I think it didn't quite hit the mark, and reach full potential.

Nice environmental shot, it was good to see a non staged image, as many (include me went the easier route).

Clever Chris, I'd of liked to see the I and N a little clearer.. but I could just be being fussy. I guess you had fresh breath for a week huh ?

Clever idea.. good work getting the rest of the road free.

Craig - I really liked this idea, and love the movement in the drop.

I thought this was 'merely' "Very Good/Clever", until I looked closer and saw the movement in the drop. That's when I upgraded it to "Excellent"!

Did you have writers block Glen ?
Simple yet affective idea.

I don't know guitars well, but do they usually have 2 volume dials ? I'm guessing the trails are LEDs.
Cool work.

Geoff - Not sure why this didn't score as well as it might. Seems like a well timed shot, with a good theme.
From: Alpha_7 (d70Alpha7) @ 220.245.178.137 (Mon 05 Mar 2007 03:58:12 AM PST)
Rob really well done, my only niggle is I'd of liked to see more of the definition.

I love the composition of this one.
From: Alpha_7 (d70Alpha7) @ 220.245.178.137 (Mon 05 Mar 2007 03:59:23 AM PST)
This was a really clever play, I like how well the steeples are above, but so is God.. very clever.
From: Alpha_7 (d70Alpha7) @ 220.245.178.137 (Mon 05 Mar 2007 04:00:21 AM PST)
Nice Idea Mal, I had something a little similar in mind, but no scabble or upwords..
How did you do with the lighting.
From: Alpha_7 (d70Alpha7) @ 220.245.178.137 (Mon 05 Mar 2007 04:03:00 AM PST)
Hi Pa - A bit of a stretch with just the picture alone, but the title explains it. (Looks a tad underexposed?)
From: Alpha_7 (d70Alpha7) @ 220.245.178.137 (Mon 05 Mar 2007 04:04:00 AM PST)
Very smart entry, I wasn't sold on the processing.. but it won plenty of votes. Congrats!

Steffen - Nice idea, I think had you gone the step further and written something with the keys (re-arranged them) this would of been much better. But the distortion is great.

Hey Macka I assumed this was you, Rooboy and strobist style flash.. I liked the concept but would of liked the word to feature more heavily
From: Alpha_7 (d70Alpha7) @ 220.245.178.137 (Mon 05 Mar 2007 04:08:32 AM PST)
Great concept, did you set this one up, or did the moment just present itself ?
From: Lukaszek (d70sLukaszek) @ 198.51.210.113 (Mon 05 Mar 2007 09:52:27 PM PST)
No set-up here. I was walking on the beach and noticed this. Unfortunately I have cut a board a little. :-(
From: Alpha_7 (d70Alpha7) @ 220.245.178.137 (Mon 05 Mar 2007 04:10:28 AM PST)
Love the concept and execution, infact Katie and I had long discussion on it's merits. I'm surprised it didn't do so well.
From: Alpha_7 (d70Alpha7) @ 220.245.178.137 (Mon 05 Mar 2007 04:14:30 AM PST)
Congratulations - You used this technique really well. I've seen it (somewhat overused) on DPChallenge, so didn't doubt it was real, but thought it was clever to use it for this Challenge.
